What you will doThe Commercial Sales Account Executive is responsible for promoting andselling Johnson Controls services and technology within an assignedterritory, leveraging relationships, closing new business for JohnsonControls and ensuring customer retention. This person is the Johnson Controls"brand steward", charged with telling the Johnson Controls story andclearly demonstrating that Johnson Controls is the leading electronic securityprovider. The Commercial Account Executive is responsible for securingprofitable sales and upgrades to new, existing and discontinued JohnsonControls Commercial customers while maximizing customer satisfaction andretention by initiating post installation follow-ups. This rep will also havea commanding knowledge of our product line, as well as that of our services.How you will do itAdhere to current Johnson Controls policies, procedures, products,programs and services. Create new market share by selling Johnson Controlsproducts and services to new local commercial customers. Sell additionalproducts and services to existing accounts that continue to present new salesopportunities.Sell add-ons, amend, and convert existing customer systemsto meet the customers' expectations. Renew existing customer agreements.Responsible for resale opportunities within an assigned territory Identifyprospects utilizing creative lead-generating techniques and maintainproductive working relationships with existing customers. Independentlyestablish call plans and customer follow-up strategies and tactics, andconsistently apply time and territory management techniques. Follow up withprospects. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of complete line ofproducts/services and customers' issues and needs through in-housetraining and reading/research. Obtain referrals and work with Centers ofInfluence. Process work order and complete all paperwork in accordance withapproved and standardized procedures.
