CT Site Supervisor I (WD30100469259)What you will doUnder general supervision of project owner, oversees total constructioneffort to insureproject is constructed in accordance with scope, budget and schedule.Supervises siteactivities for Johnson Controls with a group of subcontractors on SystemsMajor projects onlarge projects of $1M in cost or greater. Coordinates Johnson Controls workwith other sitecontractors to insure compliance with terms and conditions for the projectassigned.How you will do itWorks with Systems Major Projects- Project Manager to identify projectobjectives with alignment to the scope, budget and schedule.Ensures Quality Control and scope of work compliance through daily site inspections.Submits regular progress updates for incorporation into masterplan/schedule to provide variance analysis reporting.Acts as Project Safety program coordinator.Coordinates with Regional and Branch Leadership through the assignedMajorProjects Project Manager to ensure adequate resources to meet the project objectives.Resolves site conflicts regarding the sequencing of work and unforeseenconditions.Works with Project Manager in managing risks and assists in establishing project recovery plans. Ensures recovery plans are carried out.Ensures project document controls are in compliance with contractrequirements and Johnson Controls policies and standards.Ensures subcontractors readily understand expectations of the project.Ensures that subcontractors provide adequate staffing levels to meet theproject schedule.Reports to CT Installation Manager.Coordinates project site activities for Johnson Controls resources andsubcontractors.QualificationsWhat we look forHigh school diploma with 7 to 10 years of direct project coordination andsupervision experience in Commercial and/or Industrial Building ConstructionIndustry. Demonstrates excellence in coordination skills and the ability tosupervise project activities on large projects including experience in dealingwith a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges often requiringknowledge of many different disciplines. Possesses a high levelof competence in written and verbal communication at various levels. Able totravel up to 100%. This will vary on project assignment. Projects may existoutside of geographical assigned territory.
