Sodexo is seeking a dynamic leader to manage food service operations at HealthOne Behavioral Health & Wellness Center. HealthOne Behavior Health and Wellness Center is a free standing 120 bed facility that is part of the Medical Center of Aurora campus system. The Food Operations Manager will have oversight of day to day operations and be the senior most person of the Food and Nutrition department. The Food Operations manager will manage an annual operating budget of approximately $1.4 million and a staff of 11-13 FTE's. Salary budget for this position is $57,000 - $65,000/year.

The successful candidate will:
evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services and Retail Program targetedto exceed patient and customer satisfaction;
collaborate with clinical, food service and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience;
exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections;
deliver high quality food service and develop strategic plans
achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
oversee cash handing processes, and POS programming and maintenance;
maintain integrity of retail branded concept standards (national and in-house brands);
develop and execute catering initiatives to drive sales growth and achieve catering revenue forecasts;
motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly-paid), staff;
manage vendor relationships and compliance;
maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place.

has a proven track record of implementing processes and programs.
possesses high level leadership skills, as they will train, coach others on Sodexo initiatives
has a strong ability to delegate and coach a team through change, new processes and programs
has a keen eye for detail and is proactive about bringing high level of detail forward throughout services.
has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
has the ability to manage multiple priorities and is a self starter in identifying new opportunities for improvements in the operation
has demonstrated professional communication skills
has the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
has prior experience in retail/restaurant food service setting and/or patient food service setting
can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) and The Market Connection (TMC) or similar programs, and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Provides leadership and supervision for the on-site food service exempt and non-exempt level staff in the delivery of our contractual agreement with the client. Establishes a safe work environment

Directs daily operations of food service to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources, ensures operating standards and regulatory requirements are met
Develops and implements plans, projects, with defined objectives, methods, timetables and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plan
Ensures adherence to all HR standards for Sodexo, client, and regulatory agencies
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
