This opportunity offers very rewarding and unique benefits, which equates to 50% of compensation on TOP of your base salary! The first part is a tax-qualified profit-sharing retirement plan, to which CACI annually contributes up to 25% of your base salary (not in excess of applicable IRS limits) to your retirement account. The second component consists of an Individual Benefit Account (IBA), which is used for premiums, medical reimbursements, dependent care, education and Paid Time Off (PTO) policy. Both components of the benefit package are paid for by CACI, in addition to your base salary and potential performance bonuses. This position can be worked out of Sterling, VA or Aurora, CO.
What You’ll Get to Do:You will have the opportunity to lead a long-term program providing Situational Awareness Capabilities to a diverse community of users. This position offers the unique opportunity to lead the team as it navigates updating existing functionality, leveraging more modern software, and continued implementation of Agile and other processes as we work towards DevOps.

Candidates should be familiar with general systems engineering concepts in a software development environment, be able to manage personnel, and work with various government organizations.
More About the Role:You will be responsible for managing and leading the team and working with various stakeholders to supporting a mission essential system in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with developers to help engineer solutions for a Situational Awareness tool with various GUIs and REST Services based on customer’s needs. You will also be in charge of training disparate users on the tools use and tailoring it to their specific mission needs.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 10+ years of related experience with full systems engineering life-cycle development (analysis, design, development, test, deployment, maintenance)
Active TS/SCI with CI poly
Experience in rapid, agile development efforts
Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of starting)
Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) processes, policies and guidance
Solid understanding of system engineering in both development and an operational environment
Must exhibit good management skills, independent decision making capability; focus on customer service.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to research and clearly articulate, verbally and in writing, recommended solutions to ensure the team understands the end goal and is working together towards the same solution
Demonstrated aptitude for analytical thinking, problem solving, and working multiple tasks concurrently
Ability to work with the other technical members of the team to administer and support the overall program.
Self-motivated and capable of performing tasks with minimal oversight
Team player incorporating a team based success philosophy
Develop and execute program & project milestones with support and guidance of his/her immediate supervisor
Understanding of end-to-end test procedure development and software testing
Ability to provide training to a diverse user base in both small and large group settings
Experience with mission planning data
Ability to brief upper management and govt officials on status and recommendations for the program
Ability to effectively manage diverse set of personnel and motivate the team toward a common goal
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Mission management/planning systems
5+ years of experience with the software development life cycle on government programs
Familiarity with developing requirements and documentation
Unix/Linux operating systems
E2 activities (DR analysis and prioritization, etc)
Configuration Management and CM best practices
Architecture development and documentation
ICD 503 accreditation process
Working with legacy baselines
Various Microsoft product suits (Excel, Power Point, Word, SharePoint, Visio)
Experience with relational, noSQL, and file based storage products/databases
Amazon Web Services (AWS) certified (i.e. solutions architect)
