Google Business Continuity and Resilience Analyst, Global Security and Resilience Services in Boulder, Colorado

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in business continuity, emergency or crisis management domain
  • Cross-functional project management experience
  • Experience generating reports and content for executive presentations

Preferred qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to influence people to contribute to the continuous improvement of operations.
  • Developed problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.

As a member of Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) you will help develop a culture where resiliency is integrated into every facet of Google. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop best in class programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

  • Support business continuity, security, and functional teams in the preparation and maintenance of business continuity documentation, templates/tools, guidelines, and training materials.
  • Assist business continuity manager and business groups with readiness and response activities involving incident response and resilience functions.
  • Analyze data and assist in identifying opportunities for strategic improvement, mitigation of recovery gaps, and resiliency risks.
  • Gather data from multiple sources, analyze, report program metrics and assist in preparation of program updates to leadership.
  • Track and maintain resilience documentation, ensure all program artifacts are up to date.
