KBI Biopharma Engineer II / III Manufacturing Sciences And Technology in Boulder, Colorado
This position represents and opportunity to apply engineering expertise at theEngineer II or Engineer III level in the Manufacturing Sciences and Technologygroup in support of GMP production operations at the Boulder, Coloradomanufacturing facility. Qualified candidates would have the ability toprovide biological engineering principles to the process development,technology transfer, and manufacture of recombinant proteins. Experience inmonitoring process performance in manufacturing and the ability to leadprocess troubleshooting efforts is essential. Qualified candidates will alsobring the ability to own and manage the operation, training, andmaintenance of bioprocessing equipment in the support of clinical andcommercial GMP operations. Strong technical writing skills are highlydesirable for candidates applying for this role.Requirements:Qualified candidates for this role will meet the requirements of anBachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological Engineering with 3 or more yearsof relevant experience for the Engineer II title. More qualified candidateswith an engineering Bachelor's degree and 6 or more years of relevantexperience or an engineering Master's degree with 4 or more years ofrelevant experience will be considered for an Engineer III level.Engineers within the Manufacturing Sciences and Technology group will meet therequirements for being capable to apply a working knowledge of bioprocessingto interpret and apply Good Manufacturing Practices to the technology transferand routine production of biologic product manufacturing. Qualifiedcandidates would have the ability to work under general supervision to applyengineering principles to a variety of technical problems.
