Apex Systems is looking for multiple Material Specialist Technicians for ourpharmaceutical client in Boulder, CO. This is 6-month contract with thepotential to be hired on or extended. In this role, you would be responsiblefor the loading of raw materials and intermediates for the manufacture ofpharmaceutical chemicals and intermediates. The individual will performloading, pre-weighing, and moving of materials according to writtenmanufacturing procedures and SOPs. This role operates on both day and nightshift, so applicants must be open to working both. If you are looking for anopportunity to break into pharmaceutical manufacturing, apply now!Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Read and comprehend safety rules, instructions in the use of maintenance ofshop tools and equipment, and methods and procedures in mechanical drawingand layout work.Attends all required GMP training sessions and displays an understanding ofcurrent GMP, SOPs and loading technician training requirements.Work closely with operators and material coordinators to achieve manufacturinggoals.Demonstrates the ability to set up and perform loading operations properly andefficiently.Adheres to housekeeping and safety practices; participates in safetyprograms offered through the organization.Perform training sessions for subordinate/peers within the work environmentto accurately meet production needs and timing.Double-check the work of other loading technicians.Demonstrate ability to detect and respond to potential hazards and/oremergencies in daily operations.Accurate documentation of operations following written procedures.Responsible for properly managing the generation and accumulation of hazardousand non-hazardous waste and monitors plant environmental systems.Demonstrate progressive understanding of plant loading equipment.Receives Emergency Brigade training and participates in the brigade as hazmattechnical, firefighter, first aid responder including EMT and/or fullemergency brigade member.Trained in First Aid/CPR.Qualifications:Education and Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 years ofgeneral work experience.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
