POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for development and implementation of all policies and procedures relative to Cardiac Rehabilitation. This includes evaluation, supervision, and treatment of all patients enrolled in Cardiac Rehabilitation. Participates in the establishment of program goals and objectives, quality assessment, problem solving, and marketing. Able to work with patient ages adult to geriatric.
Education or Formal Training
Special Qualifications (Licensure, Registration, etc.) 1. Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse 2. BLS required within the conditional period 3. ACLS required Experience One year experience in cardiac rehabilitation preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. May be required to perform point of care testing. May be a point of care trainer. 2. Coordinates operations of the Cardiac Rehab Program 3. Coordinates Cardiac Patient Teaching 4. Incorporates latest published information and results of research into program. 5. Ensures safety of all patients.
