Aerotek Mechanical Assembler Needed Up To $20/hr in Brighton, Colorado

Aerotek has immediate openings for experienced Mechanical Assemblers with Vestas Nacelles in Brighton, CO. The assemblers will be responsible for assembling engines for wind turbines following blueprints and engineering drawings.

Shifts Available:

  • Days: Mon – Thu 6am – 4:30pm

  • Nights: Mon – Thu 5pm – 3:30am

Responsibilities:

  • Safety is the #1 priority

  • Performs quality review of own work, as well as work that comes from "upstream" in the assembly process.

  • Aligns components, and bolts, screws, as required by the operation

  • Install moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement

  • Bend and install hoses for hydraulic systems

  • Crane large components of the nacelles or hub

  • Mount wires and cables to terminals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • One to three years related mechanical experience

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, blueprints and drawings

  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
