An experienced Global Support (GS) ContractAdministrator responsible for the administration, consulting and/ornegotiation of GS contracts with external customers. Implements contractprograms, policies, and processes. Develops pre-sales contract strategiesand proposals. Works closely with marketing and sales functions and businessmanagement to structure proposals consistent with business objectives.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the creation, maintenance and administration of a largevolume of customer sales contracts of varying scope and complexity,localization of contract documentation in accordance with locallegal/language requirements, as well as implementing related processes andprocedures. At the front line customer contact for sales agreement relatedactivity between a supplier and its customers.Contracts Negotiation - Responsible for consulting and/or negotiation ofproduct/service contracts with external customers, including developmentof pre-sales contract strategies and proposals consistent with businessobjectiCoordinate with internal stakeholders, sales and GS personnel, onpre-sales strategies and objects as well as contractual and proposal statusand objectives.Collects, analyzes and quotes to support sales to achieve revenue andbooking targets.Comfortable in high level of quantitative analysis as part of the contractprocess.Understand product portfolio and customer historical purchasing behavior toposition new support offerings to align with business objectives.Understand forecasts and likelihood of deal closure in order to determinefuture revenue impacts.Ensure accuracy of the purchase order booking process in order to ensuretimely accounts receivables collections.Identifies strategic as well as very tactical actions in order to driveinitiatives and programs forward.Able to clearly communicate across multiple levels of the organizationsincluding GS leadership, Sales and direct customers.Acts independently and with groups to determine methods and procedures thatinfluence GS bookings and revenue. Drives and provides insight intobest-in-class work practices whenever possible.Works under general direction toward long-range goals.Education and ExperienceBS/BA degree with emphasis in engineering or business5+ years of sales experience in working with customers and withquota-carrying roleExperience with global support maintenance and support contracts is mandatory.Strong working knowledge of CRM applications, spreadsheets, Oracle,Incorta reporting, sku and discounting calculationsExperience in communicating with customers, sales account teams, and GSleadership.Candidate must have an ability to effectively work in a rapidly changingenvironment, within established time lines and have a demonstrated abilityto learn and embrace new and changing technologies.Additional Qualifications/Soft SkillsExcellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to ensureeffective and timely follow-up.Knowledge of the technology industry and typical product deploymentAbility to understand the product portfolio and leverage the knowledge toupsell our customersMust be motivated, goal oriented with the proven ability to work withminimal to moderate direction and maintain a high level of collaboration.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Possess a high degree of honesty, integrity and ability to maintainconfidentiality.Strength and interest in both numerical analytics and dense contractualverbiageAbility to drive cross functional team to meet common goalsUnderstanding of business intelligence toolset (ie Incorta, Oracle,quoting software tools).Must possess excellent time management skills and must be solution andresults-oriented.Must be a team player with the ab
