In order to strengthen the Epiroc brand, the Digital Marketing Communications Specialist, reporting to Marketing Communications Manager Customer Center USA, will be responsible for driving and developing the Customer Center s digital communication in both new and existing digital channels, making sure our brand and offering is communicated to the right target audiences with the highest level of engagement. He/she will also be driving the internal cross-departmental digitalization projects where Marketing Communications group is a stakeholder.
Mission: The mission of this role is to increase brand presence and create brand resonance, focusing on establishing a strong voice in digital channels and, ultimately, taking digital marketing and communications to the next level. This role will manage digital analytics, martech and a workflow from outbound communications to conversion.
This forward thinking, creative and energetic team player will create and present digital marketing proposals for a fast-paced, engaging environment within a complex business matrix. The role also provides the opportunity for the successful candidate to put their personal imprint on marketing operations as they create and vet custom marketing program ideas and assess overall market opportunities. While the focus is on further development of our digital marketing, we expect this position to contribute about 30% of the time to general marketing communications tasks (tradeshows, customer events, and internal communications).
Grow customer database through digital channels (US website optimization, outbound communications, subscription-based campaigns, microsites, customer e-newsletter, and search optimization)
Create, distribute and monitor internal communications, including optimization and improvement of SharePoint-based intranet site
Utilize marketing automation to help meet sales targets, applying best practices to create digital/online customer touchpoints;
Plan, develop, deliver and analyze effective social media campaigns;
Drive search engine optimization, pay-per-click campaigns
Support the Marketing department with graphics production
Effectively communicate project statuses to internal/external customers
Demonstrated expertise with marketing funnels and lead conversion goals
Demonstrate a true passion for digital marketing: ability to present ideas clearly and convincingly
Has to be a motivated marketer who is always ahead of industry trends, competition, and new opportunities
Digital content development: help to maintain content databases across marketing communications vehicles to ensure that Epiroc content is relevant, accessible and well organized
When needed, lead the production of mobile and browser-based applications to support sales
Support video production and interactive experience projects
Support internal communications and general marketing communications tasks as required
When needed, participate in preparation of industry trade shows and conferences. This includes managing vendors, developing marketing awareness strategy, planning, on-site facilitation of events, post-event RIO analysis and assessment to inform future performance
Ability to generate and write content for a blog, proofread and publish
Bachelor s degree in Media Communication Arts, Digital Design, Marketing/ Business or related discipline; Equivalent combination of education/experience may be considered
Two to five years of marketing communications department or agency experience
Proficiency in the following is required: Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver or similar, Adobe AfterEffects or similar
Proficiency in social media programs and social listening/monitoring is required
Working knowledge of CRM or marketing automation software such as SAP Hybris, Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot or similar is highly preferred
B2B industries experience is highly preferred
Advanced MS Office user (Word, Excel, PPT, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Familiarity with HTML, WordPress and Google Analytics is required
The ability to travel up to 20% is expected
