Job Title:Accountant - Operations
Pay Rate:up to $20//hr. Depending on Experience
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Perform project management and business analyst responsibilities for the Operational Balance and Control (OB&C) Team to ensure that all project tasks are completed on time and within budget, and that all project results are properly documented. Consider risks and internal controls when completing daily functions. Provide support for process and production issues for the Operational Balance and Control Team. Provide support for general ledger and internal DDA reconciliation’s for various Bank applications. Perform research and analysis on reconcilement exceptions. Work with various Lines of Business on exception resolution and help to identify root cause of issues. Participate in Continuous Improvement and process improvement initiatives. Essential Job Functions:
Proactively identify and implement areas of improvement in all aspects of current functions
Provide support to the daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation’s for a variety of general ledger and internal DDA accounts
Ability to work with the various LOBs that we support and get expected results
Assist in the identification and resolution of all reconciliation exceptions
Document and update department procedures •Working in a high performance, fast paced environment.
Ability to learn various aspects of Operational Balance and control both business/process and systems Partner and collaborate with any and all KeyBank departments and/or clients
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum 1 year of banking system experience or completion or pursuing of a bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of accounting principles
Effective written and communication skills
Proficient in excel
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to make decisions and provide direction
High energy level, self-starter, strong work ethic
Demonstrate Team player
