Other duties maybe assigned. Oversees multiple operational, risk and control objectives. Provides exceptional support to business partners across organization.Independently creates and establishes policies and procedures for all relateddepartmental tasks to ensure the department can cross-train efficiently. Ensures the department is audit ready. Supervise Central Operations staff, including hiring, training,cross-training, goal setting and staff development, performance evaluationand disciplinary counseling of this staff. Develops a strong understanding of the issues, analyzes the businessscenarios root causes, articulates key risks and customer impacts,develops and provides feedback on appropriate remediation strategies,validates and tests the remediation plans and provides assurances of qualityremediation results by validating the remediation work. Manages, leads and coaches the team which is responsible for a variety ofoperational tasks with the ability to coordinate these resources to completebusiness objectives and support their performance development. Identifies and independently resolves unusual problems related to thedepartment and its systems. Ensures quality standards, team metrics and service levels are achieved. Independently maintains and administers departmental systems and conductsrequired audits, as necessary. Develops a working knowledge of operational dynamics and key drivers,including external industry knowledge of capabilities and best practices. Strong teamwork, relationship and client management skills with theability to partner with other business units to lead complex initiatives. Possesses the ability to work independently with very little managementoversight. Assess current state processes and controls to help identify and defineforward looking solutions that improve processing, client experience,system and operator controls and establish a best in class foundation for thefuture. Effective leadership, including the following: track record ofdelivering strong results, demonstrated ability to lead others to accomplishgoals, strong conflict resolution skills and excellent communication, boththrough presentation and interpersonal skills. Independently identifies departmental deficiencies and suggests improvements. Ability to travel (<10%) and work non-standard hours, as needed. Completes other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position supervises Central Support Representatives.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.
