Lockheed Martin Computer Systems Security Analyst in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Description: The selected applicant will have the opportunity to manage the complex COMSEC account for multiple programs in the Colorado Springs area. The candidate will become familiar with the National Security Agency (NSA) 3-16 and various Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNNSI) requirements that govern the COMSEC account. The candidate will utilize the Distributed INFOSEC Accounting System (DIAS) for maintaining COMSEC material control. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the network operations of the NSA type 1 network encryption equipment. The candidate develops, administers security programs, procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, equipment studies and NSA regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies and NSA. The candidate prepares operation manuals outlining COMSEC regulations, establishes COMSEC procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel access to COMSEC materials. The candidate will be responsible for conducting COMSEC investigations, writing the required reports, notify the proper government agencies and specifying preventive action to be taken. The candidate will be opening and managing the Security Tracking and Authorization Request System (STARS) account for the Selective Availability Anti-spoofing Module (SAASM) equipment for the programs. The candidate must be able to partner with internal, external customers and teammates. The candidate will also have limited duties outside the COMSEC role in support of the programs as a backup Program Security Rep (PSR).
Final TS clearance required.
Knowledge of managing a traditional COMSEC account with equipment use and keys.
Strong written and verbal communications skills, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills.
Familiar with the DIAS system.
Working knowledge of NSA 3-16 and CNNSI manuals. NSA COMSEC custodian Training Course (IAEC-2112) trained.
Security Tracking and Authorization Request System (STARS) database for the Selective Availability Anti-spoofing Module (SAASM) equipment.
Knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), experience working in a Security capacity for DoD programs or Security related discipline, understanding of database use [Joint Personnel Adjudicative System (JPAS), Security Information Management System (SIMS)] and the ability to interpret policies.
Self-driven and results-oriented, and capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently.
Able to work with multiple customers taking directions, providing feedback, must be able to build effective team, customer relationships through open and effective communications.
