Responsiblefor overall site management, coordination, and oversight of Task Orders asassigned. Responsibilities also include managing both project team mates,direct hire laborers, and subcontractors. In addition candidate shallidentify, analyze, and develop improvements in productivity, clientrelationships, and customer service as they relate to the DAWSON's totalmanageESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Ability to secure high level security clearance to support constructioneffortsAssists the project manager with conducting inspections, completingenvironmental/engineer reports, attaining all necessary permits andestablishing schedule/budgets in accordance with contractual documentsMaintains contact with insurance carrier, fire protection, policedepartment and other agencies having jurisdiction over the construction siteto ensure that the site complies with the codes and regulations of each agencyEnsures that all required subcontractor/vendor insurance certificates andstatutory worker's compensation are in place prior to commencing workEvaluates specifications for plan procedures, start and completion dates,and staffing requirements for each phase of the construction projectEstimates the scope of work and obtains a minimum of three bids for comparisonand completion of each jobDirects and motivates other supervisory personnel, subcontractors and staffengaged in planning and executing work procedures.Inspects job site under construction on a regular basis to ensure the workconforms to specifications, budget and schedule and initiates any repair orreplacement needs and/or adjustment of working proceduresReviews and approves all vendor and subcontractor invoices pertaining to theconstruction department and submits all approved bills to the regionalaccounting department for processing and paymentPerform project site audits to ensure adherence to company SOPs/policies,project plans and specifications, and confirm as built drawing completionsReceive daily reports, including reports from sub-contractors, and/orothers for inclusion into daily report.Maintain red-line or as-built on project site.Generate RFI's in conjunction with Project Manager and support all changeorders as required.Generate and disperse Government inspections and sign-offs.Maintain daily reports in binder for Client personnel.Gather, prepare and submit OandM data and coordinate for Customer Trainingas necessary.Other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in direct construction supervision andmanagement or post-secondary educationFive (5) years of direct Federal DoD construction processes (Preferred)Excellent verbal and written communications skillsOSHA 10 and 30-hour certification required with recent CPR training Construction Health and Safety Technician certification desiredCompletion of United States Army Corps of Engineers, Construction QualityManagement courseKnowledge of construction related technologies, quality activities andquality auditing. Ability to read and understand engineering designdrawings, specifications, and applicable technical instructions, plansand reports.Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures.Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office andother applicable programs.EDUCATION: A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Engineering/Science and8 or more years project related construction experienceAn
