You will evaluate and audithow policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industrystandards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk andavailability, you will advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap.You will work in a consultative role to ensure the client operates securely asthey navigate an evolving IT environment. Join us as we protect the DoDthrough strategic cyber policy development.Duties and ResponsipbilitiesDevelops and monitors the implementation of policy and procedures to supportinformation security goals and operations.Develops changes in policy or strategy to support new initiatives or requiredchanges.Manages information security implications within the organization as directedby leadership.Applies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise;full industry knowledge.Develops innovative solutions to complex problems.Works without considerable direction.Mentors and may supervise team members.Position RequirementsRequired Skills (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)Unix/Linux/Windows System administration, DoD Secure host Baseline,Cisco switches and routers, or boundary defenses technologies.Knowledge of cybersecurity policy, procedures to systems, and networkingin an Enterprise environment to review controls and package artifacts forvalidKnowledge of cybersecurity policy, procedures, and workforce structure todevelop, implement, and maintain a secure systemKnowledge of Information System Security Manager (ISSM) Roles andResponsibilities and the DoD assessment and authorization processAbility to review policies and procedures for the network and EnclaveEnvironment that align to DoD directivesAbility to lead the assessment of artifacts and guide the authorization ofsystems to authorization ether independently or as a teamArcSight and HBSS experience desired.ClearanceSecretCertificationsDoD 8570 Information Assurance Management (IAM-III) CertificationYears of Experience/Education Requirements15+ years of experience in Information Technology (IT)10+ years of experience Information Assurance Management (IAM)5+ years System Administration and configuration experience5+ years of IAM experience in the DoD EnvironmentAdditional InformationThis job description is not designed to cover or contain all job dutiesrequired of the employee.
