Job Number: R0102599Incident ManagerKey Role:Provide support system SMEs with technical triaging of high priority incidentscausing significant user impact, leverage expertise in technical teamleadership, and ensure troubleshooting effort is thorough and consistentlystructured. Provide technical expertise to develop executive reports toportray the details of triage efforts correctly. Lead technical SMEs incomplying with ITIL best practices for service management and incidentresponse. Lead distributed technical teams toward the resolution of issuesthrough effective engagement and communication with stakeholders. Exercisesound judgment in the evaluation, assignment, and escalation of issues.Document findings and provide analysis of resolved issues to leadershipthrough effective written communication. This position requires the ability tobe available for either 1st shift (7:30 am - 4:00 pm ET) or 2nd shift(3 pm - 11:30 pm ET) with published schedules worked out in advance Dueto the 24x7 nature of IT incident management.Basic Qualifications:-4+ years of experience in working with IT incident response operations-Experience with ITIL service management and incident management-Experience with using Microsoft Outlook, including e-mail, calendaring,and meeting setup, to set up meetings, manage calendars and receive,respond, and send e-mails in formats such as attachments and links-Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, andPowerPoint to deliver executive-level status reports-Experience with error assessment-Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift, including weekends or holidays-Ability to obtain a security clearance-HS diploma or GED and 13+ years of experience with systems analysis or BSdegree in CS or EE and 5+ years of experience with systems analysisAdditional Qualifications:-Experience with virtual team management-Experience in the VA-Possession of excellent critical thinking skills-Public Trust clearanceClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may needto meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color,religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin,disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic-tofearlessly driWe are proud of our diverse environment.
