Ent Credit Union Operations Training Specialist - OPERA02509 in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Position Description:This training position is responsible for conducting in-house trainingprograms for member service operations positions. The Training Specialist willimplement, maintain, and enhance employee-training programs to ensureemployees acquire the knowledge and skills required to perform job functionseffectively. Provide ongoing training support specific to organizationaltraining needs and objectives.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Under general supervision, conducts in-house training programs for memberservice operations positions( including MSR, , New Accounts, IRA,, Products and Services ,and New Employee Orientation using a variety ofinstructional materials including leaders guides, participant materials,job aids and software programs to facilitate job skills development.Responsible for preparation of class materials and coordination of trainingclasses.Monitors participants operations skills development in the classroom to ensuretransfer of learning. Provides feedback on the participants progress to theparticipant and his/her supervisor.Other duties as requiredMinimum Formal Education Required for this Position:Knowledge consistent with a Bachelors Degree in Education, Communications,or a related fieldMinimum work experience:(Preferred) 1+ years experience of formal training and development(Preferred) 1+ years experience in a financial institutionTechnical or specialized knowledge/skills:Knowledge and application of adult learning principles.Advanced communication skills including written, verbal and interpersonalare required with the ability to work with all levels of the organization.High comfort level with public speaking.Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple and diverseprojects.Ability to develop professional presentationsDemonstrated problem-solving ability and consistent, logical and effectivedecision-making skills.Basic ability in technical writing to include training manuals, memoranda,and proposals.Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Certifications required:None required(Preferred) Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or othersimilar certificationsEnvironmental, physical and psychological requirements:Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climatecontrolled environment. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists forrepetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper,currency, or coin, and operating a telephone. Demands for visual andauditory acuity are typical of an office environment. Must be able to addressan audience verbally with clarity. Must be able to point or gesture, usevisual aids (write on dry-erase board, etc), and perform other basicclassroom functions. Must be able to interact via email, telephone, or inperson with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy with all members under varyingcircumstances.
