Position Description:The purpose of this position is:To coordinate with all appropriate parties to verify errors are properlyresolved before funding, shipping, and delivering loans to investorsEnsure loans to be delivered are compliant with regulatory and Credit Unionpolicies and delivered according to all investor requirementsServe as the liaison between mortgage lending staff, other credit uniondepartments, investors and third party vendorsProvide support to the Post Closing Supervisor, providing leadership,guidance, testing, and special projectsRemain proficient and knowledgeable with Mortgage Lending products,procedures, and regulationsEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborate with Treasury Department to confirm loans being delivered toinvestors. Prepare loan file and system and any additional requirements totransmit and ship loans to investors. Resolve any errors with the investor andthird party vendors. Complete transfers of loans to pending sale portfolio forTreasury hedging requirements. Updating and maintaining investor files bothphysically and in the LOS system. Transferring data files to investors asrequired by each investor. Work throughout the month clearing exceptions withthe investor.Assist management with various tasks such as system testing, projects,compliance research, loan file assignments, writing and updatingdepartment PandPs, quality control.Assist Post Closers as needed with daily tasks.Participate in the training and development of other Post Closers and will bea resource for questions, problem solving, and will display leadership andprofessionalism.Research and maintain knowledge of progressing loan program guidelines andloan sale requirements. Understand and meet all regulatory guidelines toguarantee loan compliance.Other duties as requiredMinimum formal education required for this position:High School Diploma or equivalentCandidate may proportionally change years of relevant work experience below 1to 1 for the level of formal education attained vs minimum required. Forexample, a requirement of Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelors Degree inAccounting and 2+ years of accounting experience could be substituted for aHigh School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or aMasters Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experienceMinimum work experience:4+ years combined financial services, customer service, consumerlending, or mortgage lending to include at least 3+ years first mortgagelendinTechnical or specialized knowledge/skills:Extensive knowledge of Mortgage Lending business terminology and process flowExtensive knowledge of 1st mortgage productsExtensive knowledge of investor selling, delivery and servicing guidelinesExtensive knowledge of lending regulations and Consumer Financial ProtectionBureau requirementsComprehensive knowledge in reading and understanding documents such asappraisals and closing disclosuresComprehensive knowledge in analyzing post-closing documents to ensurecompliance with regulatory requirementsAbility to effectively analyze issues and create positive outcomes for allinterested parties within the required regulationsAbility to anticipate impact of actions and how to properly resolve additionalissuesAbility to prioritize/manage workload and allocate resourcesOrganized, detail oriented, flexible and able to multi-task in anever-changing environmentDisplay positive, professional demeanor and work independently with littlesupervisionSelf-motivatedInitiative to meet and/or exceed job standards and willingness to take onother tasks that support the goals of the Credit UnionEffective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsBasic competency with Microsoft Word and Excel or similar programsAnalytical and mathematical skillsCertifications required:None RequiredEnvironmental, physical and psychological requirements:Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climatecontrolled environment.
