We perform state ofthe art work and have a cadre of outstanding professionals on our team.The Joint Space and Strategic Capabilities Group (JSSC)provides programmanagement, engineering services, and analytic support to the US SpaceForce, US Air Force, US Space Command, and US Strategic Command. Ourwork includes developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging, highpriority national defense needs, and assessing cutting-edge technologies andcapabilities to meet those needs.SPA has an immediate or near term need for a Senior Portfolio Budget Analystto support the United States Space Command.We arelooking for someone withexperience in United States Space Force (USSF) and/or USSPACECOM missionrequirements.ResponsibilitiesProvide support to USSPACECOM in developing, planning, and programing forUSSPACECOM mission requirements to maintain and revise, as necessary, theUSSPACECOM Integrated Priority List (IPL). Perform studies and analysis todevelop the data substantiating the IPL. Provide advice and recommendationsaffecting the spectrum of USSPACECOM mission requirements; support thedevelopment of specific requirements for space warfighting; supportassociated modeling, simulation, and analysis activities performed acrossthe USSPACECOM Headquarters.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics,Statistics or related fields of study, or 20+ years of experience in aprofessional work environment may be substituted for the degree requirements.10+ years' experience in the DoD Programming, Planning, Budgeting andExecution (PPBE) process, or the Joint Capabilities Integration andDevelopment System (JCIDS)10+ years' experiencedeveloping requirements, performing studies andanalysis, and resolving complex problems10+years' with USSPACECOM missions and US Space Force systems andarchitecturesSECRET clearance with eligibility to obtain a Top Secret/SensitiveCompartmented Information (SCI) clearance and ability to maintainduringduration of employmentDesired Qualifications:12+ years experience with USSPACECOM mission partners (DoD, JointServices, External Partners)Experience in defense financial management tools such as the DefenseEnterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS), Automated BusinessServices System (ABIDES), Commander's Resource Integration System(CRIS), and the Defense Transaction Interface Module Systems (DTIMS)Ability to work in a matrixed environment of contractor, vendor, andgovernment personnel in a fast-paced teamExperience with government agencies involved in DoD budgeting and acquisitionprocessesExcellent oral and written communication skills to communicate highlytechnical subject matter to broad audiences, including executive-levelaudiencesSPA is committed to the principles and practices of equal employmentopportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action.
