SUMMARY: Under limited supervision, the Test Engineer (TE) will perform avariety of routine to complex duties in support of the manufacturing anddevelopment of integrated circuits. These activities include productsustaining, new test program generation and new product introductions. DUTIES .and. RESPONSIBILITIES: * On a daily basis the Test Engineer will be responsible for thefollowing: * Generate, compile, verify and document test programs; generateand update necessary device, hardware, software and procedural documentation. * Provide test program, device and other test oriented technicalinformation to engineering and manufacturing personnel as appropriate. * Generate and update necessary device, hardware, software andprocedural documentation. * Debug and characterize device and hardware operation; * Define and execute technical experiments and projects and summarizeresults. * Define project objectives, metrics and milestones, monitordevelopment status, report on progress and take corrective action asappropriat * Must be able to understand and develop test programs for a wide rangeof products which will include mixed-signal and complex digital devices. Development, implementation, and support of standardized testmethodologies. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a BSEE or BSCE from a four year college or university andfive (5+) years of experience developing digital, memory, and/ormixed-signal test solutions in an integrated circuit manufacturing and testenvironment is required. All applicants must be a U.S Citizen or U.S Person or lawful permanentresident as defined by ITAR (a lawful permanent resident or someone who is aprotected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3)). PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS: Test hardware development utilizing third party PCB designers. Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office products - Excel,Word, Visio, Power Point, Project. ANSI C, C++ software programming skills. Data analysis skills using statistical tools including Excel or othertools such as Minitab, JMP.
