Lockheed Martin Systems Administrator in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Description: The Associate Systems Administrators position on the Peace Krypton (PK) program is a challenging position supporting both the sustainment of the Prime Mission Equipment (PME) and the Ground System Modernization (GSM) of the PK Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Mission System. Th PK program provides ISR capabilities to the Republic of South Korea. Periodic travel to South Korea may be required. This position includes the following responsibilities:

• Install, configure, monitor, manage and maintain both physical and virtual Windows/Solaris/Linux systems

• Install, configure, monitor, manage and maintain Cisco and Juniper network equipment including firewalls, routers, and switches

• Install configure, monitor, manage and maintain Network Attached Storage systems including IBM Storwize, NetApp, and VSAN

• Install configure, monitor, manage and maintain VMWare based Hyper-converged systems including VCenter, Horizon, and clustered ESXi hosts

• Perform backup and recovery (including disaster recovery) of the system environment and data.

• Monitor backups and periodically testing the backup system by restoring files

• Ensure all systems are configured to comply with all appropriate security policies

• Ensure all systems have the appropriate patches installed includes but is not limited to, security, applications and OS

• Ensure all systems are running current versions of antivirus software with current virus definition files

• Respond appropriately to any security or virus incident discovered in the system

• Create and maintain enterprise and system documentation

• Create and maintain administration processes and procedures

• Install, configure, manage and maintain system applications

• Create, manage and maintain security groups

• Create, manage and maintain user accounts

• Create, manage, maintain, and deploy system images

• Recommend system enhancements, including but not limited to, servers, applications, storage, processes and procedures

• Recommend when additional system resources are required or when existing resources should be retired

• Ensure all appropriate asset management functions are completed as required

• All other tasks as assigned by the SEIT and System Administration leads

Basic Qualifications:

• Windows, Linux, VMWare system administration experience including; setup, deployment, and maintenance of systems and environments

• Experience with both server and client tier virtualization including hardware accelerated graphics

• Network device (firewall, router, switch) administration experience

• Windows Active Directory experience

• PowerShell scripting experience

• Knowledge of Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Jira and Confluence

• Knowledge of Agile principles and practices

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

• Understanding of PaaS and SaaS concepts

Ability to obtain a secret clearance

Desired Skills:
