BROAD SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:The Sales Associate is responsible for providing fast, friendly customerservice to meet and exceed customer expectations for our valued Kum & Gocustomers, while working in partnership with other Kum & Go leadership andstore associates. The Sales Associate will understand and execute the CompanyVision through standard operating procedures and is responsible for day-to-daystore operations. The Sales Associate will partner with the store team toachieve our vision of becoming the #1 Convenience Retailer by 2021.B. ACTIVITIES: List primary duties and responsibilities which are essentialparts of this job along with the percent amount of time spent on each duty andresponsibility.% ofTime Principal Functions of the Job50% Operational Execution Engage with the store team to execute store goals Follow SOPs (register accuracy, cash counting, food safety, etc.) Promote food service and special sales Stock and price product Face and front products Assist with inventory control Maintain cleanliness inside and outside of store Build displays Read store communications and initiatives from Supervisors andStore Support Center Complete light paperwork and administrative duties as assigned50% Customer Service & Teamwork Execute GUEST (Greet, Uniform, Encourage Sales,Speed, & Thank), interact with customers and assess customers' needs. Promote the Kum & Go vision and values internally and externally. Provide fast and friendly customer service. Display a positive attitude and promote teamwork. Exhibit professionalism in appearance, conduct, and judgment. Respond to the needs and requests of customers, vendors,and Kum & Go management and staff in a professional and expedient manner. Assist in training of less senior Sales AssociatesC: SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Position has supervisory responsibilities. Responsible for carrying out supervisory responsibilities inaccordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, andevaluation of assigned unit, department, or group. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training orcausing the training of employees within assigned unit, department, or group. Responsible for ensuring that the performance managementassessment for each individual within the assigned unit, department, orgroup is conducted and completed according to company policy no less than onceevery 12 months. LEVEL OF SUPERVISION RECEIVED:This position will receive close daily/hourly supervision. This positionwill have access to supervision as needed to resolve issues or problems.
