Overview of Job Function:

The Logistics and Distribution Coordinator is responsible to complete customer logistics, RMA [Returned Material Authorization] & distributions (deliveries) scope. This role will ensure a safe and effective delivery including retrieval of customer materials to and from client locations. Coordinate material availability for support vehicles and make sure that materials are properly recorded, reported, and accounted. Perform under all operational quality and compliance requirements including material testing and international policies & procedures, respectively.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and controls order cycle and associated information systems (ERP).

  • Creates and receives documentation and quality records for all material and services.

  • Daily maintenance, storage, organization, and customer distribution of receiving documentation to include ongoing process improvement. Order status notifications and quality record follow up with the client and internal resources.

  • Ensures RMAs are processed promptly as they arrive from receiving.

  • Ensures RMA billing and shipping are done promptly after repair completion.

  • Delivers returned merchandise to the appropriate location.

  • Ensures merchandise is stocked in the appropriate area.

  • Communicates with repair technicians regarding necessary repairs.

  • Test systems and parts returning from field.

  • Complies with import/export trading requirements including but not limited to recording and maintaining all international shipment information and documentation as outlined under Verint’s policies. Maintains knowledge/training of US and international shipping requirements including, import/export regulations, free trade agreement certificate requirements, country of origin certificates, manufacturing certificates, letter of credit processes and comprehensive and thorough understanding of Incoterms 2010. Supports audit assessment programs to ensure implementation and effectiveness of internal controls.

  • Inventory functions to include routine cycle counting, material pulls for disbursement creation, and record maintenance.

  • Shipping and handling including packing according to Verint's quality standards. Unpacking, verification of goods received and recording of all in and out material.

  • Works with and coordinates with different couriers including shipping charges.

  • Performs basic mechanical assembly upon customer hardware requirements including the proper labeling.

  • Performs basic technical product testing as part of quality monitoring including recording and reporting via ERP.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, IT or related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant logistics, shipping/receiving, inventory experience plus basic mechanical assembly and product testing.

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of import/export shipping documentation (Commercial/Proforma invoice, packing lists, air waybills, bills of lading, shipper’s letter of instruction, AES direct filing, etc.).

  • Strong working knowledge of import and export classifications and how they are used on shipping documentation (ECCN, HTS, Schedule B, COO).

  • Knowledge of Network Electronics Equipment.

  • Self-sufficient and resourceful, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word.

  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.
