Requisition 22094Location: Denver, CODenver,Colorado80249,United States (US)Position Purpose:The Product Assurance Manager is responsible for the quality related aspectsof all products, procedures, and processes of the company, includingfacilities, equipment, courseware, support activities, and personnelselection process. This responsibility includes signature authority forinitial acceptance and re-certification of ongoing fidelity, configurationcontrol and performance of support and operational training system elements.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Assumes responsibility for the quality related aspects of all products,procedures, and processes of the company, including facilities,equipment, courseware, support activities, and personnel selectionprocess. Includes signature authority for initial acceptance andre-certification of ongoing fidelity, configuration control and performanceof support and operational training system elements.Plans, directs, monitors, and participates in acceptance testing andvalidation of facilities, equipment, courseware, and software.Directs the activities associated with hardware/software/coursewarequality assurance and configuration and data management for proposed, inbuild, and ongoing programs.Ensures that site activation follows approved plans in all areas, includingfacilities, equipment, courseware, and personnel manning profiles tosatisfactorily meet contractual milestones.Establishes and maintains quality assurance programs, procedures andcontrols, ensuring that performance and quality of products and servicesconforms to company and customer standards and are applied consistently acrossall programs.Assumes responsibility for incorporating and enforcing program-unique customerquality requirements into applicable corporate standards.Coordinates responsibilities with company configuration, logistics, anddata management to assure system compatibility and consistency withobjectives.Assures that consistent and complete configuration control, logistics, anddata management and safety systems and procedures are used across allcorporate programs.Ensures that personnel performance appraisal and compensation plans areproperly administered throughout all programs.Participates as a member of Configuration Control Boards.Supervises Simulator Test Group in development, acceptance,implementation, and maintenance of FAA-AC 120-40/45 (or other asapplicable) WST Standards.Supports the FSSC ISO 9001:2015/AS 9100D program and is designated as aManagement Representative to FSSC's ISO Auditor.Knowledge, Skills and Ability:Ability to fluently read, write, speak and understand English.Ability to work well under pressure and exercise a high degree of initiativeand responsibility.Solid skill and ability in management and leadership role.Solid skill and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and inwriting.Solid skill and ability to interface effectively with clients and customers.Basic knowledge of computer spreadsheets, word processing software andprojects scheduling systems.Solid knowledge of military standards and specification practices. Education and Formal Training:Bachelor's Degree with a technical or managerial emphasis or four years,combination of education, experience, and training, in addition to whatis listed below.
