Financial Modeler/Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst JobLocationUS-CO-DenverID 2018-1434 # of Openings 1 CategoryAccounting/Finance OverviewThe Financial Modeler/FP&A Analyst will provide modeling and reportingsupport for the senior management team through weekly, monthly, quarterlyand annual forecasts, reports/dashboards, , and business reviews. Thisrole is deeply involved in financial modeling support for variousinitiatives, in particular, the pursuit and solutioning of newcontracts, amendments and renewals.ResponsibilitiesBuild financial reports and provide data analytics in support of drivingbusiness growth, identifying areas of opportunity or risk, and improvingforecast accuracy.Serve as change agent to drive innovation in financial modeling; provide adhoc analysis to enable insightful picture of business performances and forwardlooking analysis.Develop and implement key financial and management measures that result inimproved results and accountability.Produce internal reports to effectively communicate key financial informationto members of the senior management team.Gather data, develop P&L projections and perform sensitivity analysis toidentify and determine risks for senior management.Assist with building and maintaining monthly, quarterly, and annualbudgets and forecastsResearch, track and develop critical success pricing factors to secure andwin business.Collaborate closely with Sales, Solutions and Operations to providetime-sensitive modeling support for new contracts and renewals.Develop complex models, prepare pricing and related reports and participatein presentations with internal teams.. Manage heavy workload in a highlyvisible area involving confidential information.Make recommendation to improve, enhance or streamline the quality ofpolicies, processes, and procedures for existing processes.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor s degree in math, economics, business, finance or accounting.MBA a plus but not required.Minimum three to five years in an accounting, finance or quantitativeanalysis role, with at least two years of financial modeling experience.Experience with the composition of financial statement analysis, pricingmodels, budgets and forecasts, preferably in a services or BPO environmentAbility to perform complex financial and quantitative analysis and effectivelycommunicate the analysis to an executive audience.Ability to turn data into actionable insights and to create innovativesolution to solve problemsHighly advanced skills in MSExcel based modeling required; experience infinancial software and VBA a plus.(i.e. Hyperion, BW, SQL, SAP)Experience in scheduling and staffing optimization a strong plus.Ability to work independently in unstructured environment, be proactive,flexible and learn quickly.
