Major responsibilities

  • Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls

  • Greet and guide visitors

  • File member information

  • Enter member data into database

  • Create flyers in English and Spanish with Publisher

  • Handle a high volume of email correspondence

  • Handle simple cash transactions

  • Assist other employees with diverse projects


  • General familiarity with paper filing

  • Knowledge of email and calendar management within Outlook

  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Publisher

  • Switchboard phone (1-10 lines) experience

  • Introductory knowledge of QuickBooks

  • Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Word

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, and creating charts from pulled data

  • Ideal candidate must have adept computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

  • Familiarity with using the internet for research tasks

  • At least 1 year of administrative experience preferred
