The Gallery Assistant position is part time,10-30 hours per week.Duties/Responsibilities-Art handling and installation-Gallery/building maintenance and daily cleaning-Arts administration and general office duties-Acting as professional gallery representative and docent to patrons/tourgroups-Ensuring artwork and patron safety-Programming assistance - event planning, set-up/tear-down, and staffing-On-campus representative for the gallery-Opportunity to participate in student-run gallery space-Other duties as applicable Required Qualifications**MUST BE A STUDENT ENROLLED AT AN APPROVED COLORADO HIGHER EDUCATIONINSTITUTION**Minimum GPA of 3.0. Candidates must be enrolled for at least 6 credits. Preferred QualificationsQualifications include: reliability, organizational skills, ability towork independently while meeting firm deadlines, detail oriented, teamplayer. Candidates must be available some evenings and weekends.
