We are seeking an Industrial Network Engineer for our Denver, CO location


The Industrial Network Engineer is the lead technical resource for delivering industrial network services and solutions enabling customers to leverage the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and intelligent manufacturing. The Industrial Network Engineer will work directly with our customers to deliver Assessments, Designs and Implementations specific to industrial Networks and Virtualization solutions.


  • Perform hands-on network/wireless assessments, design and implementation of simple and complex manufacturing control networks for automated manufacturing processes.

  • Create and develop configuration of small to medium sized virtualization solutions (server and thin client).

  • Communicate to customers the impact and requirements of manufacturing networks related to PLCs, HMI/SCADA, plant historian, motor control, motion control, IT enterprise systems, etc.

  • Provide on-site technical sales support specific to industrial network services and solutions.

  • Provide on-site technical education, seminars, webinars, etc.

  • Develop and deliver customer documentation that includes: user requirements, system specifications, recommended remediation plans to observed customer issues, and proposed system designs for the physical and logical aspects of an industrial network.

  • Make decisions and judgment calls based on industry experience and best practices.

  • Ability to work without direct supervision or approval.

  • Exhibit self-motivation and ability to work independently.


  • Act as liaison between customers’ Information Technology (IT) departments and Manufacturing/Operations Technology (OT) departments.

  • Ability to accurately articulate the requirements and priorities of both IT and OT stakeholders

  • Present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gain buy-in around both the concepts and the value of acting on design changes.

  • Make decisions and judgment calls based on industry experience and best practices.

  • Ability to work without direct supervision or approval.

  • Exhibit self-motivation and ability to work independently.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering; other Bachelor’s degrees in engineering may be considered

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communications, organizational and written/verbal communication skills

  • Experience creating system designs for simple and complex network solutions.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a network engineer, network administrator or other related position

  • Problem solving and interpersonal skills required

  • Ability to influence and guide team members when required

  • Exposure to IT and industrial control systems including PLC, HMI/SCADA, plant historian, motor control, motion control, etc. technology and applications (Rockwell or comparable platforms)


  • Preferred hands-on experience configuring IT equipment (Cisco, VMware, etc.)

  • Preferred previous experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team completing full project life-cycle implementations

  • Network Engineering Certifications Examples include: CCENT, CCNA Routing and Switching/Wireless, CINS Cisco Industrial Networking Specialist, VCA, VCP, GICSP or equivalent

  • Understanding of CPwE DIG (Converged Plantwide Ethernet Design and Implementation Guide)

  • Understanding of relevant ISA, ANSI, NEMA, NEC and NIST standards


  • Flexibility for daily local travel. 50% - 75% required within Denver, CO area

  • Occasional overnight travel required for training and business meetings
