IT Help Desk will support end users by deploying new workstations,performing hardware upgrades, and installing, updating and troubleshootingvarious software packages This position will respond to support ticketscreated by end users. In addition, this role will work with other members ofthe IT Department to perform projects, manage documentation, policies andstandards, and continuously improve the delivery of IT services to theentire firm. Other duties as assigned.This is a PT position with the potential to become FT.Requirements:4-year degree in computer science, information technology or engineering,and at least 1-year relevant experience (internships are acceptable);ORA student would be considered for a possible internship that could lead to aPT or FT job offer. The student must be in their senior year in pursuit of adegree in computer science, information technology or engineering, with atleast 1-year relevant work experience (internships are acceptable);OR3+ years of Help Desk experience plus technical certifications related totheir workSkills:IT Help Desk must take direction well and be motivated self-starters. Thisperson must be open and excited to learn new technologies. They must havestrong communication skills, both written and oral, and possess basicproject management skills as well as experience in thetroubleshooting/management of desktop operating systems like Windows 10,Microsoft Office Suite (all versions), as well as other miscellaneoussoftware applications. Experience with Office 365 and MS Teams a plus. Theyshould be customer service-oriented and learn techniques to best serveclients. Strong documentation skills are a must.
