The scope of responsibility willspan all areas of the IT PMO with a primary focus on supporting one of the keystrategic business application portfolios within IT. PM responsibilitiesinclude actively planning various aspects of the portfolio includingharmonizing its project and program components, managing theirinterdependencies, resource availability, budget allocation, and projectsequencing to best meet business commitments and against our operationalconstrScrum Master responsibilities include promoting and managing Agileprocesses, leading the scrum team, and facilitating daily meetings. TheScrum Master will work collaboratively with the respective Product Owner, ITDevelopment Lead, and (when applicable) the integration partner todevelop a backlog, prioritize work, and define a sprint plan to deliverthe worRESPONSIBILITIESAccountable to business sponsors for schedule, budget, and quality of allprogram elements. Escalates decisions to sponsors as necessaryKeeps close, direct contact with IT Business Leaders and business partnersto ensure that projects are delivering the expected business outcomes andcontribute to strategic decisions. Acts as the communications conduit tosponsors and program steering committee and conducts periodicbriefings/status updatesProvides overall leadership and management of programs and projects for one ormore functional areasGuides, coaches and motivates the Scrum team; drives continuousimprovement of the Agile practiceOrganizes and leads all Scrum ceremonies: Backlog Grooming, SprintPlanning, daily stand-up, Sprint Review (demo), and Sprint RetrospectiveCollaborates with business and IT teams to define epics and individual userstoriesCommunicates status to stakeholdersMonitors burn-down, sprint capacity, and delivery metricsSets performance objectives and incorporates feedback from team andorganization for continuous improvementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degreeA minimum of 7 years of IT leadership experience setting priorities anddriving for resultsA minimum of 5 years of project manager experience leading cross-functionalprojectsA minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or equivalent role withinan Agile teamCertified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) orCertified Product Owner (CSPO)Strong understanding of project management and Agile concepts, processes,practices, procedures and toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to combine attentionto detail with big picture perspectiveExperience leading global teamsProficient with project management and Agile tools, preferably Microsoft TFSPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering preferredPMP, Six Sigma, Change Management training and certification desiredExperience leading major software package implementations strongly preferred(HRIS, CRM, ERP)Able to work independently with minimal supervisionProactively plans for managing and mitigating project risksDemonstrates excellent oral and written communication skillsMust be able to think creatively and possess strong analytical and problemsolving skillsProven track record of consistently meeting goals and objectives
