We understand the interconnectedness of all our ITsystems and services, and we excel at helping our clients navigate them. TheService Desk works with the Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, LearningSpaces Support and Client Configuration teams to provide outstanding computerhardware and software support to the entire university. You will learnvaluable OS troubleshooting, skills, Active Directory, technicalwriting, and customer service skills. As you advance with us, you willlearn to use and support Office 365, endpoint management systems(SCCM/JAMF) and security processes.Reporting to the Service Desk Supervisor, you will provide provide a singlepoint of contact to enhance customer service satisfaction through answeringcalls, walk-ins, emails, reporting using the ticketing system, andon-site visits. You will be at home in this position if you value helpingothers, promote knowledge-sharing and have no reservations asking questionsof your peers. Duties/Responsibilities70% - Provide exceptional customer service via phones, walk-ins,email, on-site visits, etc. and create tickets to report all incidents.20% - Research issues for resolution, create documentation, and escalatetickets to appropriate team when necessary.10% - Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications**MUST BE A STUDENT ENROLLED AT AN APPROVED COLORADO HIGHER EDUCATIONINSTITUTION**Punctuality and Interest in working and learning all the time; notinterested in a job where you can do homeworkA minimum of 3 full semesters remaining prior to graduation by the time youstart with usAbility to work 4+ hour shifts multiple times a week when you start with us(15-20 hours minimum/week)Customer-service driven; customer service experience rated highlyWilling to be trained on new technologies and dutiesAnalytical and detailed orientedOrganized, good verbal, interpersonal skills, and written communication skillsMust also be able to work well in a diverse team environmentCandidates must be thorough in investigations and documentation and willing topass on lessons learned from personal researchAbility to exercise good professional judgment is imperativeExisting technical skills and experience very helpful, but not required PreferredQualificationsWork study funds are preferred.
