IT Support Specialist Job LocationUS-CO-DenverID 2018-1440 # of Openings 2Category Information Technology OverviewThe IT Support Specialist is responsible for performing analytical,technical, and administrative work in the installation of new and support ofexisting computer systems and workstations; troubleshoots and resolvesissues with computer systems and peripheral equipment located throughout theorganization in response to user reported incidents; trains end users in theuse of equipment and software; performs general IT maintenancetasks.ResponsibiCustomer Support: Provides professional, courteous, and quality systemssupport to all users in a timely manner. Responds to inbound calls,voicemail, web-submissions, emails and/or instant message to the SupportService Desk for assistance from users experiencing problems. Consults withusers to identify needs and requirements.System Support/Administration: Performs Windows system administrativesupport which includes adding and removing users, installing,troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software, monitoring systemand network activity, and assisting with user desktop issues on a dailybasis. Provides problem determination/resolution based upon personalexperience and standard operating procedures, including immediate resolutionwhDepartmental Support: Evaluate business needs, objectives, and goals;researching products available and designating procedures to best meet thoseneeds while not negatively impacting current architecture & applications.Develop documentation to support the use of hardware, software, andtelecommunication products. May participate in and provide information for thestrategic planning process and development of effective processes andprocedures at the departmental level. Works independently or as a member of ateam in a variety of roles from providing assistance to assuming taskleadershiIT Department inventory: Responsible for maintaining accurate inventorycontrols; monitoring and sustaining inventory to ensure product availabilityat all locations. Support the documentation of IT equipment; updateinventory records to maintain accuracy and requesting additional equipmentthrough procurement process; providing justification when required.Other duties and projects as may be assigned or requested.Qualifications4 years minimum experience supporting Windows OS desktops & laptops in anenterprise.1 year minimum Apple products (iPad, MacBook) support in an enterprise.1 year minimum supporting smartphones (IOS, Android) in an enterprise.4 years software application support via remote assist and/or desk side.This includes client operating systems (Windows 7; 10; Server2003-2016; IOS; OS X), MS Office suite 2010-2016; ActiveDirectory; Exchange, O365; Backup and Recovery; Virus utilities;VPN; performance monitoring; etc.3 years minimum experience in a customer service/call center environment,and/or helpdesk.Must have strong networking troubleshooting skills.Must have strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a dynamic andfast-paced environment.Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and becourteous and efficient when handling and resolving issues.Must be self-motivated and flexible to accommodate changes in Promontory sbusiness strategies.Must maintain a high level of professionalism and professional appearance atall timesIndividuals may need to sit or stand as needed, may require walkingprimarily on a level surface, and lifting up to 50 pounds.Promontory Financial Group, LLC is an Equal Opportunity EmployerMinority/Female/Disability/Protected Veteran
