The Role

The Lead Marketing Manager: Video & Motion Developer creates engaging videos, motion graphics, and marketing creatives in support of marketing initiatives that enhances the brand reputation and customer engagement. This role on the team is an idea and production machine, responsible for end-to-end creation of visual projects for our B2B and B2C marketing teams. You will coordinate and participate in pre-production strategy planning meetings, as well as script ideation, and create concepts for videos from scratch. You may also be asked to create everything from icons to infographics to laying out multi-page documents, resizing images – and everything in between.

We are looking for someone who is a process-driven problem solver who has demonstrated capability of mastering and understanding the video creative process and ushering multiple projects through each of the steps towards successful delivery. Internal client satisfaction and creative quality should be exceptional and the communication process seamless and efficient. The production of a project should be smooth and organization clear, therefore reducing misunderstandings and unneeded overage of project budgets.

The Main Responsibilities

Works collaboratively with marketing and creatives to work effectively within a team environment.Excellent time management skills: ability to multitask and handle multiple projects at once.Develops, implements, and ensures brand consistency across all deliverables.Ability to concept and create storyboards, ensuring they meet project objectives and are not outside defined scope. Has the ability to turn complex subjects into easily understandable visuals.A keen eye for designing layouts, typography, color, and composition.Proactive, self-directed, enthusiastic in coming up with new video ideas/direction while also satisfying strategic needs; initiate and maintain a list of ideas/new creative for future needs.Work with copywriters to create concepts and develop scripts for videos from scratch, as needed, and then transforming scripts into storyboards and videos. Must be adept at editing video.Communicate upcoming projects and resource needs on a weekly basis, or more frequently as needed, and proactively escalate any issues.Schedule and initiate quality assurance reviews at specific milestones.Collate action items and client feedback to manage the iteration process.Demonstrate solid leadership, confidence, and teamwork, with logical decision-making skills while maintaining an open mind to new ideas and processes.Drive the ideation and creation of custom graphic designs for social media, web channels, and internal and external communications teamsExecute ad hoc day-to-day creative needsFrequently research the latest trends in design and communicationNOTE: * A Demo reel demonstrating motion graphics / 3D abilities is required for consideration of this position. *

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • 7-10 years of video and motion graphics experience

  • Experience managing vendors, agencies or people

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail as well as written and verbal communication skills

  • Expert level knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, and other relevant Adobe Creative Suite apps

  • Advanced knowledge of 3D modeling/animation.

  • Strong portfolio and demo reel which demonstrates ideation and design skill sets

  • Illustration experience a plus

  • Ability to understand a creative brief and develop creative that is in line with the project’s goals within the established parameters.

  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a production studio, agency, or corporation
