Position Overview

Be part of the fastest growing customer channel at Autodesk. Apply your skills, experience and develop your own professional growth by leading the Autodesk Global Affiliate Program that operates within the company’s Digital eCommerce Team . The primary responsibility of the Manager of Global Affiliate Programs is to grow Autodesk’s Global Affiliate business (billings) by building relationships and recruiting key affiliate partners, major affiliate networks and e-Commerce accounts. The position will have direct business responsibility in the AMER Region (both NAMER and LATAM) while also coaching a regional team that includes indirect reporting structures in EMEA and Asia Pacific.

This role reports to the Director of Digital & eCommerce for AMER.


  • Work closely with key Global Affiliate Partners and align business goals between companies that yield the highest return on investment. Includes: Continually gain mindshare with large companies so they focus on Autodesk. Frequently meet with partners and stakeholders to optimize the performance of existing affiliates and increase the Autodesk reach in the market by recruiting new affiliates and/ or networks. Establish Partner Programs that drive growth with the highest return on investment; both annual and in-period program development. Negotiate contracts that maintain compliancy in 3rd party relationships; to include tags, links and branding requirements

  • Drive AMER sell-thru while also working closely with the regional Affiliate Managers assigned in EMEA and Asia Pacific to localize plans for highest growth. NOTE: These regional positions in EMEA and Asia Pacific already report to assigned Regional Directors; however, they will have indirect reporting responsibility to the Global Affiliate Sales Manager Position that is being interviewed

  • Make data driven recommendations for the business. Regularly report on affiliate business performance to multiple levels of management, including, but not limited to: key performance indicators (traffic, cart additions, conversion), and results (billings, AOV), net impact on the overall ecommerce business, role within the sales & marketing ecosystem, iterate and optimize all local site level performance, be accountable to an approved Global Operating Budget based on COGS

  • Facilitate cross-functional planning & execution in Autodesk by working closely with marketing teams (especially in Search and non-Search analytics), a promotional stakeholder team, various Inside Sales Teams, Digital Acquisition Teams, Retention Teams, Analytic Teams, and Finance Partners

  • Develop offers and promotions that align with overall strategy and drive incremental customer acquisition

  • Regularly interact with marketing resources to assess customer and local market conditions; be an expert on behalf of digital selling in your interactions

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years in External Partner Management experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in and solid knowledge of digital marketing and/or eCommerce

  • 3+ years’ experience with affiliate marketing/influencer marketing

  • Familiarity with SEM/SEO/Retargeting campaigns

  • Travel, as needed

  • Able to work across GEOS and Cultures

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong external partnership experience: Your background demonstrates deep understanding on how to create win-win relationships in a multi-tiered partner framework

  • A customer experience perspective. You are familiar with all of the components that make up a great web experience: Visual Design, UX, and Content Management

  • Business and Finance acumen. You regularly report against sales targets and understand the local elements that contribute to the business (both quantitative and qualitative)

  • Effective Coaching Skills.You have proven direct and indirect coaching experience and can lead a team to high performance

  • Experience effectively leveraging promotions, offers and merchandising to drive incremental sales

  • Strong influencing & communication skills in a highly collaborative environment. Communication is critical in this role. You can balance your point-of-view with knowing when to disagree and commit. You can facilitate meetings and ensure vision is expressed within your immediate team as well as with other functional teams

  • Data-driven decision-making skills.You have keen analytics skills, especially with Adobe Analytics and potentially Google Analytics. You understand and have experience with A/B and multivariate testing. You use data from multiple sources to drive meaningful decisions and actions

  • Understanding and ability to manage key metrics, from traffic and purchase conversion to page load times. You understand how each of these impacts your ability to meet goals and know how to influence them

  • Familiarity with end-to-end lifecycle marketing
