It should be one of your greatest competitive advantages.You Will: Ping Identity is looking for a Technical Writing Manager to joinour Knowledge Management team in Denver, Colorado. Your primaryresponsibility is the management of a dynamic group of technical writers andthe products they support. You will report to the Director of KnowledgeManagement. You have a background in technical writing and exposure to thesoftware industry.As Technical Writing Manager, you will bring your leadership skills to arole that requires excellent planning and coordination. You will meet withyour direct reports and maintain working relationships with Product Managers.In addition to your participation in the product content development cycle,you will be an important part of the Knowledge Management decision-makingprocess, and will draw from your experience to ensure Knowledge Managementand our goals are achieved.Responsibilities:Collaborate with project stakeholders to assess documentation resourcerequirements.Collaborate with project stakeholders and technical writers to developinformation architectures for documentation.Collaborate with other KM leaders to ensure consistency among processes andexpectations.Manage a team of direct reports, including coordination of daily activities.Observe and provide ongoing feedback to employees.Support Director of Knowledge Management.Manage schedules.Ensure employee adherence to Ping policies.Participate in the hiring process for new Knowledge Management employees.Ensure successful onboarding of new technical writers.Assist with publishing technical content.Required skills and experience:3 or more years of proven leadership experience7 or more years technical writing experienceExposure to the software industryExperience in direct people managementExcellent planning, coordination, and time management skillsDesired skills and experience:Experience working with others to manage projects and design technicalcommunication deliverablesExperience contributing to the development of team practicesExperience in a company that provides software solutionsExperience with Oxygen XMLExperience with content managementSome project management experienceExperience with JIRAOur Benefits:Open PTOParental LeaveFree Healthcare Option401(k) MatchGenerous Holiday ScheduleCommuter OffsetEducation ReimbursementPing Identity is an equal opportunity employer.
