Learn more by visitingGeneral SummaryUnder general supervision, involved in leading the strategic vision,market opportunities, pricing and profitability analysis, marketingactivities, and collaborating on sales strategies for a brand, product orservice across all media, while collaborating with multi-functional teamsand agency partners.Essential FunctionsServe as a central resource for all brand-related information and coordinatewith business partners in creating and deploying brand-building programs.Educate business partners on brand-related issues and opportunities.Establish short and long term goals, competitive positions and strategiesfor the market segment.Develop and deploy programs to maximize the distribution channels to market,increase business opportunities, and increase retention of current businessin the market segment.Identify segment expectations, behaviors and attitudes and use thisunderstanding to develop initiatives that ensure that the customer'sexperience delivers on the VSP brand.Identify segment trends and opportunities to understand the changingmarketplace and ensure that the needs and priorities of the segments areconsistently taken into consideration in order to keep VSP competitive.Identify strategies, develop plans, and lead initiatives that meet theneeds of the market segment. Set direction for project teams and influencestakeholders to ensure products, services, and marketing programs meet theneeds of this segment.Establish goals and set targets to measure the success of programs for themarket segment.Work with communication managers, identify and direct what needs to becommunicated in the market segment, based on research, competitivepositioning and value propositions, and delivered through marketing plans.Partner with business areas to execute and gain adoption of programs in thefield and at the account-specific level.Job SpecificationsTypically has the following skills or abilities:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalenttraining, education and experienceFive years of experience in product or brand managementAdvance understanding of brand management concepts and building/executiontechniquesSolid working knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelProven ability to develop and execute marketing strategiesAbility to elevate the perception of our corporate brand and our companyExcellent project management skills and experience managing large projectsProven track record of influencing constituents for optimal resultsExcellent organization skills, detail-oriented and ability to multitaskExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsFlexible and able to quickly and effectively change priorities and directionStrong analytical skills requiredAbility to write and present clear and concise reportsRegularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance ofhis/her job dutiesPreferred SkillsExperience in Salesforce marketing automationSkilled at direct-to-consumer marketing through multi-media channelsAbility to create the new in a start-up environmentWorking Conditions / Physical DemandsThe working environment is generally favorable.
