Job Description Job Number: R0029225Network Security Engineer, SeniorKey Role:Work with clients across a broad range of commercial markets, includingfinancial services, healthcare, energy, consumer products,high-tech, pharmaceuticals, and automotive to implement and achieve theirCybersecurity objectives. Apply knowledge of monitoring, analyzing,detecting, and responding to Cyber events and incidents, includingfocusing specifically on network protection. Advise on an integrated,dynamic Cyber defense and leverage Cybersecurity solutions to deliverCybersecurity operational services, including intrusion detection andprevention, situational awareness of network intrusions, security eventsand data spillage, and incident response actions. Test, implement,deploy, and operate the infrastructure hardware and software required tomanage the organization's Cybersecurity operational services effectively.Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed. Represent the firmin a polished manner when engaging clients to build relationships and furtherenhance Booz Allen's brand in the commercial marketplace. This positionrequires extensive travel to client sites up to 75% of the time.Basic Qualifications:-5+ years of experience with network security technologies and designprinciples-Experience with segmenting networks to reduce risk to the customer-Experience with assessing, designing, or implementing securitycapabilities, including incident response, threat intelligence, securitymonitoring, and vulnerability management-Experience with core enterprise infrastructure and security-supportedtechnologies, including data protection elements, such as DLP,tokenization, or encryption, perimeter protection, such as firewalls orWAF, SIEMs, IPS/IDS, managed security services, and Cloud services security-Experience with Microsoft Office, including developing polished high-endPowerPoint presentations-Ability to contribute to the identification and implementation of securitysolutions-Ability to travel at least 75% of the time-BA or BS degreeAdditional Qualifications:-Experience in working for consulting firms, including Deloitte, EY,PwC, or Accenture-Experience in working through diverse technical aspects of Cybersecurity-Experience with information security regulations or regulatory bodies,including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, or GLBA-Knowledge of information security program frameworks, including ISO27001/2, COBIT, or NIST-Ability to excel in face-to-face client interaction during project execution-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, includingproviding substantive narrative input into client deliverables, reports,proposals, or marketing content-BA or BS degree in MIS, CS, or related technical field-CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certificationsWe're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color,religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin,disability, or veteran status-to fearlessly drive change.CMCLWe are proud of our diverse environment.
