What you will get to do:
As a Cirrus Platform Engineering Intern, you will work with the Platform Engineering team to enhance the Cirrus infrastructure and tooling necessary to enable product teams to build faster. You will have an opportunity to use a wide array of AWS services and will work on improving monitoring, metrics, and the standardization of the platform on top of which Cirrus is built. Your work will enable the development of next-generation traffic management software solutions and in this role, you will:
Improve existing infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like CloudFormation and Terraform
Work with the Platform Engineering team to expand monitoring and metrics in our Production environments
Learn Cirrus Platform Engineering best practices and explore solutions to stay up to date with industry standards
Work with Engineers, Product Owners, and the Platform Engineering team to help distribute best practices amongst our teams
Ask lots of questions, learn a lot, and bring a curiosity-focused mindset to Cirrus
What You’ll Bring:

Prior experience in any programming language
Passion for developer experience and for continuous improvement

NOTE: Internship pay rates are $15/hr to $25/hr, based on the class level (Freshman – Senior) of the candidate and whether the candidate is in an undergrad or graduate school program.
