OpTerra Energy Services Pre Construction Project Manager 3289 in Denver, Colorado

Foster large scale wind .and. solar projects through the pre-construction phaseof project development. Successful execution of this position requires clearand consistent coordination of multiple project stakeholders includingcontractors, vendors, owners, and financing partners. If you possessexceptional project management skills and the ability to successfully navigatethrough and resolve complex problems, this role is for you! What youll do: * Provide project management coordination and support for large andcomplex wind and solar projects during the pre-construction phase of theproject. * Responsible for supporting the request for proposal (RFP) processfor engineering, procurement and construction services. * Responsible for supporting contracting negotiation process for allproject agreements including Balance of Plant (BOP) EngineeringProcurement and Construction (EPC) contractor, various supplyagreements, and ancillary project services agreements. * Support pre-construction activity including site studies, surveys,preliminary engineering, estimating, and schedule development. * Coordinate and manage key project stakeholders including BOP-EPCcontractor. * Participate in the negotiation of key project contracts including theTurbine Supply Agreement (TSA) and BOP EPC Agreement. * Work with the Manager of Pre-Construction and other projectstakeholders to ensure project schedules and costs are managed and tracking toplan. * Assess project risk and proactively develop mitigation plans. * Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all partiesinvolved in the development of the wind project. What you bring: * Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent combination oftechnical training. * Combined 3-5 years of project management (preferably in utility scalerenewable energy) and heavy construction management experience. * Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or equivalent aplus. * Experience with various project .and. construction management softwaretools, e.g., Procore. * Demonstrated ability to be organized and work on multiple projectssimultaneously. * Strong Microsoft Software Applications skills (Word, Excel,PowerPoint and Project). * Superior leadership, communication, interpersonal skills. * Proven track record of managing projects with results that meet allstakeholder goals.
