Specifically,the Provost/EVPAA will work to address the following challenges andopportuniti* Set a new vision for the Academic Affairs BranchThe Provost/EVPAA will have the opportunity to establish a vision andrelated strategies/goals to enhance the work of the Academic AffairsBranch, as well as build upon a recent strategic realignment of academicprograms to better meet student needs and address workforce opportunities.This reorganization included the launch of an innovative Health Institute thatintegrates 10 health-related academic departments in order to betterfacilitate relevant, interdisciplinary education. The Provost/EVPAA willdevelop and nurture partnerships between the University and various Coloradoorganizations that further elevate the academic enterprise, includinginnovative educational programs such as the institution's on-campus hoteland the Center for Education Solutions.
