Principal Responsibilities:- Consults with clients to assess current problem states, define desiredfuture states, define solution architecture and make solutionsrecommendations.- Evaluates client business, process, systems and technology requirementsduring the pre-sales phases, and advises clients on best practices to helpguide and solidify proposed designs.- Creates physical and logical architecture solution roadmaps for linkingservices solutions with client business processes and technologies.- Develops new solution sets if not available in current practice offerings.- Delivers a high value services solution to the client on time, withinbudget, and meeting all quality and technical specifications.- May be involved in the implementation and delivery of services solutions tothe client.-Maintains technical accreditation and develop wider industry knowledge to ahighly competent level.- Develops and manages customer relationships with appropriate contacts.- Co-owns and project manage the technical elements of sales opportunities tosuccessful closure.Conducts customer site visits (reseller and end user).- Delivers sales and technical enablement training internally to Tech Datasales teams or externally to the reseller base- Responds to queries or customer care issues in a timely manner.- Communicates product and technology information to the relevant audience- Deals with daily product/solution enquiries from internal/external salesand partners.Work Experience:6 - 8 years of successful solutions design and development, businessexperience and advancement in client facing roles.Demonstrated expertise of Practice discipline.Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining relationships withhigh-level clients.Established track record of successfully leading the design and developmenthigh revenue growth, profit and client satisfaction services solutionsofferings.Relevant consulting, or fee based services experience.Education and Certification(s):BS/BA Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relatedtechnology field or equivalent combination of formal education and directlyrelated experience.Certified in Red Hat (RHCE, RHCA, or specialist in one of OpenShiftcertifications)Skills and knowledge requirements- Analysis, problem solving and ability to accurately design complex vendorsolutions to meet customer requirements.- IT industry knowledge - Channel, Vendors, Competition and End User.- Effective oral and written communication skills (english language ismandatory)- Strong attention to detail, priority management and planning skills.- Service oriented attitude.- Ability to engage with multi-vendor approach- Team working and internal influence ability- Continuous learning approachJoin our team to connect the world with the power of technology!Tech Data is an equal opportunity organization.
