Manhattan Strategy Group Region VIII Head Start Regional Systems Specialist in Denver, Colorado

DescriptionPosition Description:As part of a regional team:Identify cross-system coordination opportunities between OCC and OHS in theregionLink TTA resources and training to the Child Care Resource and Referralnetwork and other such organizations, as appropriateProvide information, consultation, and technical assistance to TTA staffon work related to coordination and collaboration between Head Start and childcare programsAggregate and analyze regional data related to Head Start and child carecollaboration to identify cross-system coordination and collaboration issuesProvide direct TTA to Head Start/Early Head Start granteesIncorporate other tasks reflective of evolving national priorities aspresented by the Office of Head Start, National Centers, Regional Officesand/or aggregate regional assessment data.Basic Qualifications:A minimum of a BA or a BS, with a preference for a Master's Degree, froman accredited university or college in early childhood education, childdevelopment or related degree.A minimum of seven years of experience. At least 3 years with the provision oftechnical assistance and consultation to Head Start and child care programs ispreferred; at least 3 years' experience working with partnerships such aspartnerships among Head Start/Early Head Start, child care and stateprekindergarten programs.Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in developing successfulcollaborations within state early childhood systems, familiarity with HeadStart Program Performance Standards and other regulations; state child carelicensing standards and regulations and Quality Rating Improvement Systems(QRIDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing tovarious audiences.We are committed to creating a diverse environment and proud to be an equalopportunity/affirmative action employer.
