Job Summary

Job Summary: The Researched, Abuse, Diversion and Addiction-Related Surveillance (RADARS®) System provides timely and geographic-specific data to the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory agencies, policymakers and medical/public health officials to aid in understanding trends in the abuse, misuse, and diversion of prescription drugs across the globe. The RADARS System is composed of multiple data sources and a Scientific Advisory Board, and it is an independent operation of Denver Health’s Rocky Mountain Poison & Drug Center (RMPDC).

The RADARS System measures rates of abuse, misuse and diversion, contributing to the understanding of trends and aiding the development of effective interventions. These data assist pharmaceutical companies in fulfillment of their regulatory obligations, such as risk evaluation and mitigation strategies (REMS).

Under minimal supervision, performs various day-to-day operations for the RADARS System Drug Diversion Programs within the research department, primarily related to post-market surveillance, public health, and/or epidemiological studies. Our preferred candidate will be a self-starting, enthusiastic team player with superb attention to detail and strong writing skills, as well as a high level of comfort with spreadsheets. Candidate will also promote positive interpersonal relationships with fellow employees, managers, physicians, clients, research partners outside of the Denver Health system, and visitors. Job functions may include: generate procedural documents for review, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and tip sheets; thorough review of RADARS® System reports, surveys, and other work as assigned; assist with Quality Assurance procedures, including materials versioning and internal/external audits; perform data validation and data quality audits; communicate with external partners; ability to review and thoroughly understand research protocols and procedures; assist with preparation of FDA and sponsor documentation, and/or study reports; and summarize research data from literature or other sources.

Minimum Qualifications Education: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate related field of study Experience: Related experience in appropriate field of study. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Position requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively and independently. Strong knowledge of spreadsheet and database programs and leadership experience is desirable. Has substantial independent function.
