Join us in our efforts to better our community!Position Summary:As the Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator in Occupational and EmployeeHealth, you will coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centeredcare by supporting the comprehensive Occupational and Employee HealthPrograms(s), designed to promote employee wellness, maintainproductivity, decrease absenteeism, and promote cost containment. As theRN, you will assist with the clinical functions of the program(s),including pre-employment processing, occupational health testing, andsurveillaWhat you will do in this role:You will participate in all aspects of the Occupational and Employee Healthand Safety Program(s). You will provide quality care to employees inaccordance with corporate/hospital policies and procedures and local,state, and federal regulations.You will perform pre-employment screenings, annual health screenings andtests, and immunizations.You will serve as the initial source of medical evaluation and reporting foremployee work-related illnesses and injuries and assigns employee toappropriate level of care. You will provide consultation and first aid andschedules therapy, rehabilitation, and/or work restrictions as needed.You will serve as case manager for work-related exposure, injury, orillness. You will evaluate and investigate all incidents, coordinatesmedical interventions and work absence/light duty assignments, andconducts follow-up to determine appropriate resolution.You will promote interdisciplinary approach for the identification,tracking, and resolution of employee health issues.You will maintain all logs, periodic reports, employee files, and databases.You will provide necessary employee health education on wellnessinitiatives, safe work practices, and occupational health programs.You will assume accountability for promoting consistent, positive patientinteractions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service.Rose Medical Center, a well-known as a Denver institution and a 9th Avenuelandmark for 60 years, Rose Medical Center has earned a reputation asDenver's "Baby Hospital" while becoming a leader in comprehensivewomen's services, internal medicine, endoscopy, heart and vascularcare, orthopedics and total joint replacement, bariatric surgery, sportsmedicine and aesthetic surgery.
