District Sales Leader Designates will receive acustomized on-boarding plan to assimilate and develop the necessary skillsetin preparation for a District Sales Leader position. The on-boarding planincludes learning the Frito Lay Route Sales System and gaining exposure to thekey players and functions across the Region Business Team. The formalizedtraining program for this position involves 4-6 months of route level work tolearn the foundation of the business and develop an understanding of ourDirect Store Delivery (DSD) network and supply chain.he job is in a physical work environment with varying length ofworkdays/schedule. Upon completion of the training program, the DSL-D willbe promoted to a District Sales Leader. The DSL will have responsibility forall aspects of managing a sales district comprised of 10-25 Route SalesRepresentatives (RSR's). Each District Sales Leader leads a $5-15Million dollar business. All District Sales Leaders are responsible foradministrative and technical support, as well as facilitating information todirect reports. It is imperative that candidates have strong leadershipskills, communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced, constantlychanging work environment.Major Tasks, Accountabilities, and Key Responsibilities:uccessfully complete all activities included in the Sales District LeaderDesignate training programSuccessfully interact with customers (store management) and effectivelysell in/execute sales programs and initiativesLead district meetings focused on a plan to achieve sales objectives and goalsConduct one-with-one meetings and "work with" with RSR's to discussperformance, selling and customer service skillsCoach RSR's to successfully sell against baseline and promotionalopportunitiesCollect and interpret statistical data utilizing PepsiCo specific applicationsPartner with product supply team to create accurate forecasts based onpromotions and historical performance to ensure product availabilityPrepare and deliver sales presentations to customers as requiredAbility to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, eveningsand/ or weekendsMust be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs. periodicallyQualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree preferredA minimum of 2 years managing frontline employeesConsumer packaged goods experience in a Direct Store Delivery environmentHighly motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation,influencing, and follow up skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Requires Department of Transportation (DOT) certification and successfulMotor Vehicle Report (MVR) review during the pre-onboarding processThis position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in theUnited StatesMust have a valid driver's licenseThe safe Driving record strongly preferredRelocation Eligible: Not ApplicableJob Type: Re
