Senior DirectorColorado11-15 YearsUSASR NumberHCL/HCL/2021/1454802Job FamilyProducts and Platforms(Development)Job Description (Posting).Position SummaryHCL Software develops, markets, sells, and supports over 20 productfamilies across four main pillars: Customer Experience, DigitalSolutions, Secure DevOps, and Security and Automation.The Marketing Strategy Director will partner closely with the Head of HCLSoftware Marketing to manage the strategy of a diverse portfolio of softwareproducts, with focus on the new HCL Software brand. We are seeking aMarketing leader who will define the go-to-market strategy, from positioningthrough execution of all marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will havebroad experience managing teams and a focus on product marketing and branding.The Strategy Director will help align group goals and maintain consistency inpositioning and messaging for the division and the company. He or she willalso help align key areas of marketing included but not limited to: digitalmarketing, communications, campaigns, events, analyst, and mediaactivities. Our chosen candidate will be an important leader of an expansivemarketing team, providing guidance, oversite, and operations managementfor the group. The director will manage but also be hands-on as needed tomeet the goals of the organization.Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:*Oversee marketing strategy for HCL Software. Help develop product-levelmarketing strategies and align them to the group strategy.*Manage one or more key functional areas of marketing, ranging from digitalmarketing to product marketing. Advise practitioners on best practices andhelp set up processes to achieve success.*Assist in setting goals for all of HCL Software marketing as well as productmarketing levels.*Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to developproduct positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyerpersonas.*Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products,and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.*Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems wesolve for our buyers and users.Skills and Attributes:*Bachelor's Degree, MBA-valued.*15+ years of general marketing experience, preferably in the SoftwareProducts industry.*Good knowledge enterprise software, particularly in HCL Software productcategories.*Proven successes in solution/product marketing, product development,go-to-market and/or sales enablement experience*Demonstrated influence on product strategy and go-to-market programs based onmarket research and insights*A keen sense of creative marketing judgment and initiative is required.*The ideal candidate should have extensive experience across multiplemarketing functions, with emphasis in digital marketing.*Strong leadership attributes: honesty, integrity, confidence,inspires others, sound judgment and decision-making capabilities, andaccountab*Ability to inspire, lead and align cross-functional teams*Ability to work autonomoQualificationAssociate of science, B Tech, BBA, BE/B.Tech (Hons), MBANo. of Positions1Skill (Primary)Domain Competencies-Bus.
