Then you want to join the DeviceAnalyThe Role:As a senior software development engineer on the team, you will beresponsible for leading the architecture, design, development, andlaunch of core product features. You will have significant influence on ouroverall strategy by helping define these product features, drive the systemarchitecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.The candidate is passionate about new opportunities and has a demonstratedtrack record of success in delivering new features and products. A commitmentto teamwork, hustle, and strong communication skills (to both businessand technical partners) are absolute requirements. Creating reliable,scalable, and high performance products requires exceptional technicalexpertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science,and practical experience building large-scale distributed systems. This personhas thrived and succeeded in delivering high quality technologyproducts/services and will flourish in an environment where newopportunities and challenges arise frequently. We seek a great team player whowill naturally elevate the performance of the people around them.Responsibilities:* Work with other senior leaders on the team to build the technical strategyand architecture for a broad area* Design and develop world-class software and services* Mentor and grow engineers across the team, leading by example andinsisting on high standards* Develop tools and processes to enable best-in-class operations for our serviceThis position starts at $122,300 per year. A sign-on bonus and restrictedstock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in additionto a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent onthe position offered. Applicants should applyvia Amazon's internal or external careers site.* 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language suchas Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design* 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design(architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new andcurrent systems* 4+ years of professional software development experience* Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience* 8 + years of experience building production software systems* Experience leading a product from concept to prototype and implementation* Experience developing cloud software services* Experience with the tools of the trade including a variety of modernprogramming languages (Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Objective C,Python) and open-source technologies (Linux, SQLite, OpenGL,Spring, Hibernate)* Computer Science fundamentals experience in data structures, algorithmdesign, problem solving, and complexity analysis* OO design/development experienceAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
