Corcoran Franchise Senior Trainer - West Coast
The Corcoran Group, the leading residential real estate sales and marketing firm, is seeking a versatile Senior Trainer to manage education programs and a suite of digital learning solutions for its franchise sales associates, managers and staff. All aspects of the program’s operation and success fall under the Senior Trainer's purview, including creating curriculum, teaching classes, recruiting and preparing instructors, leveraging technology, assisting with facilities, tracking results and communicating with key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong residential real estate background as a licensed agent and/or manager, experience with adult learning and development, solid understanding of technology and online marketing best practices, excellent communication skills and above all, a strategic and proactive mindset.
This position will work closely with our NYC-based Learning & Development team to oversee the deployment and marketing of education, coaching and technology initiatives offered through Agent Studio, our learning and development brand, and Agent Studio Online, our Learning Platform, to build awareness and ensure engagement with all franchise agents and staff. The position will report to the SVP of Learning & Development and be responsible for coverage of franchise offices in our U.S. West Coast regions.
This is a remote based position and will work from home. The ideal candidate will reside in California; however, we will consider candidates in other location.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Represent Corcoran’s Agent Studio as the primary West Coast Learning & Development team member
Perform regular train the trainer, in-person and virtual agent training sessions on real estate, business development and technology topics
Advise franchise owners, managers and staff on learning & development best practices and assist with marketing & promotion materials for our offerings
Leverage and promote an on-demand library of learning resources and videos, including classes, workshops and interviews
Track and report on effectiveness of all learning programs and agent development, including agent enrollment, participation and key success metrics
Leverage, integrate and provide feedback on educational materials and offerings from our parent company, Realogy
Coach team on trends in learning industry to foster greater learning efficiency, impact, accessibility, and design/delivery innovation, including recommendations for social learning and collaboration solutions
Build and maintain relationships with Corcoran’s owned offices and the franchise affiliate network
Minimum 3-5 years residential real estate sales experience, management experience preferred
Proven track record in delivering classroom and virtual training, especially to real estate agents at various levels
Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentation and engaging class delivery for all individuals
Project management experience, with strong organization, administrative and time management skills
Diverse skill set and knowledge of real estate, technology, digital marketing and business development, especially as these relate to real estate agent success
Familiar with adult learning, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and instructional design
Experience planning and executing small and large training events, a plus
Self-starter – someone with a proven ability to create organizational change
Excels at collaboration with key stakeholders to accomplish substantial results
Strong proficiency in Office 365 (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint), online project / team management tools (e.g. Slack, AirTable, Asana, Calendly, etc.) and social media
Ability to travel up to 10-15 days some months of the year once travel restrictions lift.
Must reside close to a major airport
