We are looking for a Software Product Owner to join our team in Colorado Springs or Denver, CO.

What You'll Do
Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes which includes writing new user stories, determining acceptance criteria for each user story
Develop release planning criteria
Participate in Agile/Scrum activities
Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
Articulate requirements and business value to engineering teams and deliver with speedy time-to-market and optimal resources
Evaluate marketing and communication plans to ensure consistency with Saas product line strategy and effective messaging
Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
Align product management with overall company strategy
Determine return on investment (ROI) for new proposed features
Communicate to stakeholders to obtain feedback
This is an intermediate level role
Position is based in Colorado Springs or Denver area
What You Should Have
4+ years of product owner experience in a dynamic high-technology environment
4+ years’ experience working in an Agile/ Scrum work environment
4+ years’ experience with full software development lifecycle
4+ years software development and web technologies
4+ years experience in driving product launches
Demonstrated business and technology acumen
Ability to develop Saas product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
Strategic, analytical and critical thinking expertise; ability to break down complex problems and formulate plans
Must possess project/time management proficiency
Strong cross functional partnership & leadership skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Must live in or near Colorado Springs/Denver or willing to relocate at own expense
Nice to Have
Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Competency in product owner tools and basic office programs (Version One, Rally, Jira, MS Project, Share Point, MS Office)
Quality assurance experience
Self-motivated – ‘find a way to get it done’ attitude
Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines
Experience with service-oriented environments, and better development practices
Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
You like working with intelligent and driven colleagues
